Born from a walk around the city of Calgary, SowFiltered was conceived with the primary objective to tackle the rampant issue of cigarette waste and the subsequent environmental pollution plaguing our cities.

The City of Calgary has reported that cigarette butts, alarmingly, hold the title for the most littered item across the globe. Unfortunately, these are not biodegradable items, and they pose a significant risk to our environment. They find their way into our soil and water bodies, intensifying the problem of water pollution.

By introducing SowFiltered, we aim to reduce this pollution and raise awareness on 'seemingly insignificant' pollution. with determination and collaborative efforts, we continue to strive towards our goal of a cleaner and greener environment.
